Investor questions answered from your model's actual numbers.

What is Q&A Prep?

Q&A Prep (Investment models) anticipates the questions investors are likely to ask about your model and drafts answers from your actual assumptions and computed results - every number comes from your model's engine, not a generic template. It's a tab right inside your model; there's nothing to download separately, though it's also included in your export pack.

How It's Organised

  • Topic groups - Business Model, Revenue, Unit Economics, Growth, Financials, and more; expand each group to see its questions
  • Difficulty ratings - each question is rated Easy / Medium / Hard, so you can practice the hard ones first
  • Grounded answers - e.g. for "Walk me through your business model in one sentence": "Harbor & Vine is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers, earning 15.0% on transactions."
  • Supporting data - many answers cite the model directly: "Supporting data: Projected to reach $2.8M in Year 5"

It works for every business type - the questions point at the right drivers, whether that's your ARR build (SaaS), GMV model (Marketplace), capacity model (Services), units and attach (Hardware), or orders (Ecommerce).

How to Use It Well

Before the Meeting

  1. Read every question - especially the Hard ones ("What keeps you up at night?")
  2. Rewrite the suggested answers in your own voice - they're a floor, not a script
  3. Note any answer that surprises you: that's usually an assumption worth revisiting

As a Model-Quality Check

If a generated answer reads weak - a churn number you can't defend, a growth claim that sounds hollow - the fix isn't wordsmithing, it's the assumption underneath. Edit the model and the answer regenerates from the new numbers.
