Manage Build It Yourself, invoices, and cancellation in Stripe.

Overview

Radley Finance is freemium: planning is free forever, and Build It Yourself ($1,250/year; NZ$1,250 in New Zealand) unlocks the investment tier. This guide covers viewing and managing your subscription.

Accessing Billing Settings

  1. Open Settings (profile button > Settings)
  2. Click Billing under the Workspace section

What You'll See

  • Status - Active, Past Due, Canceled, Incomplete, or No Subscription
  • Plan - Free, Build It Yourself, or Managed
  • Manage Billing - opens the secure Stripe customer portal

Upgrading to Build It Yourself

You upgrade from inside the product - clicking any padlocked feature (a locked tab, the Excel download, Continue to investment model) shows what Build It Yourself unlocks and takes you to checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe; Radley never sees your card details. Once payment completes your account activates and the padlocks disappear.

One-off purchases - Built For You ($2,995/model) and Model Teardown ($500) - are also billed through Stripe and currently support SaaS businesses only.

Managing an Active Subscription

Everything routine happens in the Stripe portal via Manage Billing:

  • Update your payment method
  • View invoices and payment history
  • Cancel or renew

If a Payment Fails

Your status shows Past Due. Update your payment method promptly via Manage Billing - access to Pro features depends on an active subscription.

If You Cancel

Your models and data remain; the Pro surfaces (investment tabs, downloads) re-lock at the end of the paid period. Free planning keeps working, and re-subscribing restores everything - nothing is deleted.
