Managing Company Details
Company name, industry, and jurisdiction used in your models.
Overview
Your company profile stores information about your business. This data feeds your financial models and generated documents, so keeping it accurate matters.
Accessing Company Settings
- Open Settings (profile button > Settings)
- Click Company under the Workspace section
What You Can Edit
- Company Name - appears on your models and generated documents (your models keep their own names - renaming the company doesn't rename existing models)
- Business Type - the vertical you selected at onboarding. This is a default hint for new models; each model picks its own type at creation
- Jurisdiction - your country/region; determines the default currency in your models
- Founded Year
Click Save to apply changes.
What Changes Affect
| Change | Existing models | New models |
|---|---|---|
| Company name | Documents regenerate with the new name | Uses new name |
| Business type | No change | New default in pickers |
| Jurisdiction | No change to built models | New currency default |
Tip: If your business has genuinely pivoted verticals (say, services to SaaS), don't edit the old model - create a new model with the right business type so the driver logic matches the new business.
