Part 7: Account management
Profile and company settings, billing, support and CPA consultations, and securing your account.
Profile & company settings
Open Settings from the profile button at the bottom of the sidebar. Under Profile, update your name, role, and profile picture. Under Company, update your company name, industry, jurisdiction (which sets your model currency), and founded year — keep these consistent with what investors see elsewhere, since they appear on your exports. Changes save immediately; existing models keep the values they were built with, so regenerate or create a new model to pick up changes.
Billing & subscription
Settings > Billing shows your plan, price, status, and renewal date. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can update payment methods, download invoices and receipts, and cancel. Billing is annual with automatic renewal; if you cancel, access continues until the end of your current period, and you can resubscribe later with your data intact.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Subscription current; all features available. |
| Past Due | Payment failed — update your payment method to restore access. |
| Canceled | Access continues until the end of the billing period. |
| Incomplete | Initial payment still processing. |
Display, support & CPA consultations
Settings > Display has the dark mode toggle — the change applies instantly and is remembered across sessions (exports always render light, and a few pages like login stay light by design). For help: email support@radley.tax for technical or account issues (responses usually within one business day), or book a 30-minute CPA consultation — via Settings > Support, the Consult item in the sidebar, or the Schedule a Consult button on your dashboard — for model review, assumption validation, or investor preparation.
Tip: Writing to support? Include what you were trying to do, what happened instead, the exact error text or a screenshot, when it happened, and your browser. Specific emails get fast answers.
Securing your account
Settings > Security covers password changes and two-factor authentication (2FA). If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, both are managed by your provider — the Security section will say so, and you make changes in your provider's settings instead.
Changing your password
Enter your current password, then your new one (at least 8 characters), and save. If 2FA is enabled you'll also confirm a 6-digit code. Forgot your current password? Sign out and use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen.
Setting up 2FA
- Verify your email first (2FA requires it), and install an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and Microsoft Authenticator all work (Radley uses standard TOTP codes).
- Go to Settings > Security and click Set Up 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the manual setup key shown below it), then click Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app and click Enable 2FA.
From then on, sign-in asks for your password plus the current 6-digit code (codes refresh every 30 seconds). To remove 2FA — for example when switching phones — go to Settings > Security, click Remove next to your enrolled authenticator, and reauthenticate.
Tip: Save the manual setup key somewhere safe (like a password manager) when you enrol — it lets you re-add the account to any authenticator app later. Lost access entirely? Email support@radley.tax from your account email and we'll verify your identity and help you back in.
